“Wild Weekly Photo Challenge – Sunsets”

I am doing a painting of this scene though I am making nicer, more dramatic clouds across the center of the sky with the orange sky above and below the rolling purple clouds. I am liking it so far.

“Wild Weekly Photo Challenge – Wildlife”

I have taken many, many shots of foxes over the many years from my home in PEI.  I don't feed foxes as I don't like to interfere in any way with a wild animals. Foxes are dangerous to cats, small dogs and children if they are encouraged on a property.  I don't feed them as I say, but have a lot of apple trees. Birds and animals come to eat the fallen apples throughout the year. I have shots of them on my deck so am very careful that I leave no food outside. They are very beautiful though, so I have been pulling out the camera over several years.

Wild Weekly Photo Challenge – Water

This is a friend but only because I have no shots of myself floating in the water. Nothing relieves the stress of a day like a five minute float. For many years I worked from home, a full time artist/craftsperson.  Every couple of hours during the hot summer I would drive three minutes to the beach, float for five or ten minutes, dry off, and come home totally cooled and refreshed; cooled in the body and refreshed in the body, mind, and spirit. I don't do it daily any more and usually walk to the beach, but every chance I get I float in the warm water.
